  
Your1voice seeks donations to support our opt-in
electronic newsletter and public education & awareness campaign and a computer donation to improve our operating
efficiency:
At the end of April, Your1voice started an email
newsletter using an Internet service that
provides list management and distribution services for opt-in
electronic newsletters.
Your1voice needs to raise funds in order to support continued publishing the opt-in newsletter
and a broader public awareness and educational campaign. Your1voice established a short term fundraising target of $4,000 ,
and stretch goal of $5,000 to support the newsletter and to reach a broader
audience.

Small contributions are entirely welcome. The goal will be met if two-thousand
people send just two dollars each. Please do not mail cash.

To supplement voluntary donations, Your1voice has decided to enroll in a
limited number of affiliate programs of socially responsible businesses that
offer fund raising alternatives to donations. When visitors do business
with our affiliates by clicking through links provided on this web site, the
affiliate companies compensate Your1voice for the referral. Please click Patronize our

Work on this web site is being done on our family's home
computers, which are shared between five people. (The kid's homework seems
to take precedence.) A dedicated computer would greatly improve
productivity.

buttons, refrigerator magnets, bumper stickers, etc. that may be sold to visitors on a
fundraising page to defray operating expenses of Your1voice.
To
maintain its independence and flexibility, Your1voice will utilize a variety of
mechanisms to fund operating expenses. Initial
operating expenses and start-up costs are being financed by the founders.
Your1voice is currently evaluating various promotional programs to
provide an on-going source of funding, however we are concerned about avoiding
commercial influences while obtaining the resources required to achieve our
mission. Other financial
support may be solicited from foundations, corporations, nonprofit
organizations, the U.S. and other governments, and international agencies. Your1voice is not presently in a position to solicit or accept
monetary contributions over the internet, however, if you are interested in supporting

Electronic Commerce
Please
email info@your1voice.com and let us know if
you would support a Your1voice on-line store. Many ecommerce companies,
such as Amazon.com offer affiliate programs with the potential to generate sales
commissions that could help support Your1voice. We are considering
offering inspirational books, music and video tapes though services like this,
but are concerned that commercial influences not distract from the message of
Your1voice. Please let us know if you think this is a good idea.

Please note: Your1voice is a new organization, incorporated in February, 2001. Although
incorporated as a non-profit corporation, Your1voice has not yet applied for or obtained tax
exempt status. This means that contributions to Your1voice are not
currently considered tax deductible by the IRS. Our goal is to apply for
501(c)(3) tax exempt status with the IRS, this year.
