3. February 5, 2001 Elk Grove IL:  Five killed, four wounded in workplace shooting

The country responded with numb horror to the latest workplace massacre at the Navistar engine plant in suburban Chicago, where 5 people were killed and four wounded.

Wille Dan Baker, age 66 was about to begin serving a prison term for his role in thefts from his employer, Navistar.  He showed up at the engine plant with a golf bag containing an AK-47 assault rifle, a hunting rifle and a revolver.  Within 12 minutes, he fired 25 to 30 rounds, killing four people and wounding four others, before turning the weapon on himself.

This story is being repeated all to frequently, December 26, 2000 seven were killed Edgewater Technology, in Wakefield, MA, where will it happen next?

Where do people get ideas about going into their workplace or school, armed to the teeth with raging violent intent?  They see graphic violence every day on television.  They see more in movies.  They play video games where the objective is to kill as many people as possible.
